Almost 40 of our residents are taking part in this year's Relay For Life at UWA on Saturday 13th October - we're so proud of them!
Raising money for the Cancer Council is very close to home this year - College resident Oscar Devereaux is dedicating his relay to his mother who lost her battle to cancer earlier this year.
Oscar, one of our Residential Advisors who provide important pastoral care to other College residents, is in his 3rd year at College where he has been actively involved and made a significant contribution to all aspects of College life.
Oscar and the rest of the College team hope to raise as much money as they can for the WA Cancer Council. As Oscar says “Everyone is affected by cancer in some way and this knowledge should give every individual the motivation to do something about it. A cure won't bring my mum back but it might help another family from feeling the heartbreak that we have felt.”
